Luxury vinyl plank (LVP) is a waterproof flooring that varies in thickness, wear layer, detail, and price. It’s a great choice if you’re worried about water, or if you want the look of a wood hardwood floor without the cost. Traditional laminate has a compressed core that is very scratch-resistant, making it a hardy, cost-effective alternative to hardwood or tile. Not always. An affordable laminate and an average-priced LVP often end up at a similar price once underlayment is added. The exception is thicker, high-end LVP. Newer waterproof laminates also need additional prep to perform as advertised, which adds to the total cost.

Start with how you live. Homes with pets, kids, or sandy beach traffic usually do best with stain-resistant fibers and a denser, lower pile, while quieter households can put plush comfort first. We offer two main paths. A custom tile shower gives you complete design freedom, with ceramic, porcelain, natural stone, and glass mosaic tile from Emser, MSI Flooring, and MIR Mosaic, plus built-in niches, shelving, and corner seats. Within three days of measuring your space, you’ll receive a detailed estimate that includes waterproofing, materials, and finishing touches.

Installations are scheduled first come, first served. Once your material arrives at our warehouse, we inspect it for damage or defects, then call to get you on the schedule. We typically book about two weeks out for LVP, hardwood, laminate, and carpet, and one to two months out for tile work and shower remodels. If we’re booking more than a month out in your area, we’ll hold your preferred installation date once we receive your down payment. Planning ahead? We can also schedule your installation in advance.

Material usually arrives from the manufacturer within five to nine business days. If there’s a back order or you’re on a tight timeline, we’ll check with the manufacturer for an ETA before you finalize your selection.

Most of our flooring is special-ordered to match your exact selection. The exception is our trade program, where we stock several popular LVP colors for same-day pickup. Now and then, we also have a manufacturer mis-order on hand that we can offer, so it never hurts to ask.

Most residential LVP projects are finished in one to two days. Onyx showers typically take two to three days, while custom tile showers take a week or more. You’ll get estimated dates and a timeline with your quote, and our team shows up on time (barring the occasional hurricane).

Yes. We move large furniture like beds, tables, dressers, and chairs. We ask that you move personal items and unplug electronics beforehand. We don’t move specialty items such as pianos, pool tables, safes, fish tanks, or grandfather clocks, so we recommend a professional moving company for those.

No installation is completely dust-free, especially when we’re removing tile or hardwood, but our installers work hard to keep dust down. If you have specific concerns, let us know ahead of time and we’ll address them during prep.

It depends. You cannot install a new hard surface over hardwood, since we’ve seen firsthand the mold that builds up between layers, leading to health issues and a redo. You can go over tile, but we’ll skim-coat and fill the grout lines first, and we’ll check that the appliances, doors, and baseboards still work with the added height.

Our installers clean up their work area, but we don’t provide a professional cleaning service at the end of a project. We recommend hiring a cleaner you’ve vetted yourself and waiting about a week after installation so any dust has time to settle. Changing your air filters afterward helps, too.

We stand behind our work. We follow up after every installation to make sure everything meets your expectations, and if an issue comes up, like a carpet seam separating, we’ll come back and make it right.
